It is important to me to have bones from organic, grass-fed and grass-finished cattle and free-range chickens. 100% pasture-raised and free of antibiotics and hormones, as well as, tested for heavy metals and microbe contamination is my standard for clean food.

I love to add bone broth into as many places as I can soup, pasta sauce, smoothies, even my coffee! For a very light but nutrient-packed breakfast, often I make an easy version of Egg Drop Soup.


  • 1 cup Organic Chicken Broth (salt-free) liquid
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp Vogel’s Herbamare original salt & herb powder
  • 1 scoop (15 gm) Prairie Naturals’ Chicken Bone Broth Powder
  • 1 or 2 Organic Eggs
  • Chives, or other fresh herbs (optional)


Heat chicken broth and water on medium heat in a sauce pan. Add bone broth powder and mix it with a whisk for at least 30 seconds to help dissolve the powder. Increase heat enough to achieve a rolling boil. Crack eggs, add to the boiling liquid and cook till soft boiled, approximately 30 seconds. Pour into a wide-mouth cup, sprinkle with herbs and enjoy with a spoon.
